Triathlon Camps and Clinics
TriFloyd's services are available to you in many ways.
This is the section where camps will be shown with dates and details. Plus any clinics that are planned. Please refer to the coaching page for all inpidual and group triathlon coaching services.
If you are part of a company, organization, or club and would like to have a clinic organized for your group along with my coaching services, please call or email Coach Bill. as TriFloyd would need four weeks notice. My fees are a minimum of $30 per person with a minimum of five athletes for a one hour clinic. For longer clinics, the total fee would go up according to the number of hours scheduled.
Call today for one that can be designed for you, your group, and for your goals and objectives.
TriFloyd with Bill Floyd Coaching Camps/Clinics
TriFloyd with Bill Floyd Coaching has scheduled eight clinics, plus the on-going Wednesday evening Open Water Swim workouts for the year! These eight clinics and the Open Water Swim workouts are designed for the Professional, Elite, National Age Grouper, experienced, as well as the novice or "newbie". Each clinic will have skills, planning, and in the water, on the bike, and on the run assessments and training. You will be coached on how to become faster in triathlon competition!
All eight clinics will be based on TriFloyd's coaching philosophy of the "right amount." Basic nutrition, recovery, and rest habits will be discussed and shown why they should be adhered to for your total effort for race day. The eight clinics are scheduled throughout the year for you to pick and choose or sign up for all eight for a progressive approach to tweaking your triathlon competitiveness. Periodization will be the foundation from which we will draw our time tables for skills and drills. Each outline has a brief description of the topics and/or areas we will be working on together. The outline is expanded at the clinic dramatically, with a full two hours for each session, and 2 1/2 hours for the Hills clinic and a hour and a half for the Tri Run Clinic.
You will get a full workout, you will be fatigued afterwards, and you will have learned more than enough to set you for the upcoming racing season. Please read the testimonial page on our website for feedback from a few of the triathletes who have attended one or more of our camps/clinics. The clinics will be held at the following locations (February's swim session will be determined based upon weather):
SWIM: February Clinic: Sulphur Springs Pool, Bird St. and Florida Ave. Tampa Map
All other Clinics: Courtney Campbell Causeway - West on the Causeway to 1/2 mile from the middle of the Causeway to the light. The public boat dock is on the right. Turn South (left), go to the access road next to the water, turn left and go 3/8's of a mile to stairs leading into the water. Coach Bill's car will always be there at least 1/2 hour earlier than the start time. Map
BIKE: Suncoast Trail, Highway 54 trailhead/entrance Map - Hills Clinic will be in San Antonio, Florida
RUN: Suncoast Trail - same location as the bike Map
*Each clinic will be limited to 20 triathletes, and all sessions are held on Saturday mornings, with the Hills clinic on Sunday morning. There are no refunds, no exceptions.
